Responsibilities: 30% Designing and implementing customized product solutions; using various scripting languages 30% Building proposals and conducting presentations live or via web demos to executives 30% Supporting prospects through the entire RFP/RFI and POC life-cycles; defining test plans, success criteria, implementing our client’s entire network security technology 10% Acting as a liaison between Sales, Technical Support, and Product Management for feedback and reporting Recommended knowledge: • Knowledge of programming concepts and scripting • A background in Network Security, including: Implementing firewalls in layer 2 - layer 4 Networking (specifically switching architectures), spanning tree, IP routing (including OSPF and BGP) • The ability to troubleshoot with wireshark or similar tools • Experience working with access control, SSL/IPSec VPNs, security proxies and caches
