Our client is a well funded, rapidly growing network security consulting firm (MSSP) with exciting plans to expand their territory sales team throughout 2017.
Currently our client is looking for a Regional Sales Director to oversee a team of Territory AEs throughout the Western US. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring, managing and training a team of mid-level Account Executives, while assisting with client management and running your team to an annual sales quota. While you will not be responsible for your own book of business, it is expected that you will do what is necessary to make sure deals close.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of direct software/solutions sales experience, with at least 3 years of management experience in which you have trained and built successful sales teams. Cyber or Network Security experience is preferred. You must have great presentation skills, with the ability to present and sell to enterprise Fortune 500 organizations, ranging from end users to C-suite executives and be passionate about consulting with customers to understand their specific and unique pain points and then creating a compelling business case to solve them.
This role is remote and you will be expected to travel, when necessary, to clients throughout the Western US.
