Building the Information Security Career that’s Right for You
What DOES it mean to work in Cybersecurity? Are you a “bits and bytes” enthusiast or do you like to play in the arena of incident response and threat hunting? Do you see yourself as a Chief and a thought leader or are you a historian with an eye for trends and lessons learned? How do you take those skills and interests that make you uniquely you and use them to build a rewarding career that can grow and evolve over the years? Join us as we explore how to build the right skills to target an information security career path based on your passion and the needs of this vast industry.
Hear from Stephanie Helm, Director, MassCyberCenter at Massachusetts Technology Collaborative. Stephanie has guided the efforts of the Center through the establishment of resiliency working groups, a higher education training and education working group, statewide cybersecurity awareness campaigns and outreach to key stakeholders.
We will also welcome Daniel Meissler, a Cybersecurity professional based out of the Bay Area of San Franciso. Daniel’s self-proclaimed passion lies in exploring the intersection of security, technology, and society—and think about what might be coming next.
This promises to be a fascinating event for aspiring and seasoned information security professionals alike. After the year we’ve had, we think this is the perfect time to take a look at our career and calibrate our vision and energy.
